Lady Lu of the Wolves, aka Lulu Brud Zsebe, is the wild woman behind the brand OF THE WOLVES. She is a part of the whole. A piece of the movement back into the WILD. She finds inspiration in the quiet of the desert, sunrises/sunsets, sacred geometry, patterns and colors in nature, the lunar cycle, synchronicities, dance and movement, stillness and quiet, ritualistic cultures, the jungle, the mountains, the pulse of the ocean, wolves and birds, feminine archetypes in storytelling, communities and tribes. Lulu is an actress (Pretty Little Liars, Ray Donovan, Entourage) + artist + writer + home sanctuary maker + sustainable lifestyle promoter. She lives and loves on the east side of Los Angeles with her husband, Justin, and their little dog Paixley. OF THE WOLVES began in December 2014 and has evolved and expanded naturally over the course of the last year as a way to share stories + brands + recipes + DIY projects.

Micha Thomas is the other half, the other wild woman leading the Of The Wolves community. She’s also a creative director, entrepreneur, and trained life and executive coach. Micha has carved out successful marketing, content, branding and communication initiatives for clients across culture, music, innovation and technology industries for over 13 years. She is the creator of The MiA (Made in America) Project, owner of The MiA Project Store in Los Angeles, and is certified in Executive and Organizational Coaching via Columbia University and in NLP-based life assistance and hypnotherapy. Micha has contributed stories and interviews over the years to Elle Magazine, High Snobbery, Mind Body Green, and multiple regional culture blogs…she’s lived a few places. She’s a trained dancer, alleviates angst by regular boxing sessions, and adores photography, the desert, communes, and her gaggle of pet pals.

Brooke Ritchie is a creature of many colors who loves spending time crafting recipes, blending her love of whole plant foods and healing journeys to share with friends and family. Adjoining her work as a model, Brooke has been diligently embracing her first love, food, into a guiding position in her life by fully embracing the full spectrum of colorful ‘rainbow’ foods. She has recently become a line-cook and is readily expanding her knowledge of healing plant foods. She loves to share her knowledge and will question with you, “What’s best for me? What is edible? How do I make my eating a beautiful ritual, nourishing my soul and body?”

Chandra Fox is a wife, mama and founder of These Native Goods. She’s had a deep interest in fashion and creating handmade goods for most of her life. At age thirteen she studied under a custom tailor who taught her sewing and pattern making. Following this passion lead her to pursue a degree in fashion design at FIDM San Francisco and eventually to an internship in Barcelona. While overseas she began working as a model – a career that went on for the next nine years. She made jewelry on the side, and her pieces were sold at several stores throughout Los Angeles and New York. Her own journey away from fast fashion and towards a healthier lifestyle as a whole inspired These Native Goods – a site dedicated to made in the USA goods with the goal of helping to strengthen our communities and economy while treading more lightly on our planet.

DR. DEEPIKA CHOPRA
Dr. Deepika Chopra holds a doctorate in clinical psychology, with a special interest in Health, Wellness and Optimism. Dr. Chopra completed her formal dissertation on the topic of OPTIMISM and its relation to optimal well-being. With special training in the holistic practice of elevating empathy, reducing anxiety and creating a balance within the technologically and social media focused world today, Dr. Chopra’s work is timely and beneficial to anyone with a beating heart and a desire to live MORE and to live WELL. Dr. Chopra utilizes sensory based visualization, mindfulness, specific meditation practices as well as goal-oriented motivational techniques to help her clients find an effective way to practice what she calls #selfworthwork. Currently, Dr. Chopra does not practice as a ” traditional clinical psychologist” but, rather as an Optimism Coach and is able to work with clients all over the world, either face-to-face at her Los Angeles based practice or via video conferencing. Erica Ruch is an artist, web designer, and chronic seeker of wild places and adventure with a fervor for living compassionately. Living in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and being an outspoken vegan, Erica’s love of nature is integrating into everything she does. Ginny Brodd is the resident old soul who finds comfort in putting pen to paper and capturing memories from behind the lens of a camera while living life as a transplant in Sydney, Australia. She’s a believer of early mornings and hand-written “Thank You” notes, chasing the sunrises and sunsets, and the power of the little things in life. When she’s not serving (or drinking) coffee, you’ll most likely find her outside whether she’s hiking, playing and coaching tennis, or even scuba diving. Ginny is currently in the midst of training for a 50km (30 mile) trail run to help fundraise and raise awareness for Alzheimer’s that’s taking place in December, because we can all make a difference if we want to.

Kaitlin McHugh is a designer of interiors, architecture, spatial curation and staging. Based in Los Angeles, KAIT JOSEPH is Kaitlin’s design studio. Both ecologically and economically conscientious, she often utilizes items a client currently owns, refurbished and found pieces, vintage pieces and new designs. She advocates adaptive reuse and acknowledges the beauty of up-cycling while fervently supporting her contemporaries—current artists, designers and makers. Kaitlin has a fine art degree in printmaking from The Colorado College, and she studied urban planning & ecological architectural design at both the Ecosa Institute and the Harvard GSD. Kaitlin has worked closely with independent LA designers on numerous residential and small scale commercial projects.

Katie Manzella is a Certified Crystal Alchemist, Reiki Master, Angel Card Reader, Clairvoyant and Sound Healer who assists her clients in mental, physical, emotional and spiritual healing. Lee Tilghman is a Los Angeles-based recipe developer and food stylist. Coming from a long line of chefs, Lee grew up spending her summers working on organic farms on Shelter Island, NY, where she discovered the benefits of eating a seasonal, organic, plant-based diet from her mentor, worksong farmer Bennett Konesni. She then trained at a raw vegan cafe in her hometown of Fairfield, Connecticut for three years and graduated with a degree in Creative Writing from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA. Shanley Knox is an entrepreneur and ethnographer who fell in love with travel at 18, in Port-as-Prince, Haiti. She has spent the past eight years working in Uganda (while residing in NYC), where she launched a manufacturing collective focused on creating sustainable economic development while working to preserve the indigenous Myankole culture, and their renowned Ankole cows. Her work has been supported by LVMH, UNESCO, Google ATAP, AGOA and the UN Global Compact. Previously, she designed innovation and brand strategy for companies such as Nike, Google, Facebook and Adidas. Shanley is a fierce sister Wolf.

Dr. Shirley Watson is a QRA practitioner, a CCN (certified clinical nutritionist) and a Doctor of Chiropractic specializing in nutrition and wellness. She has a private practice in Culver City, CA and has become a go-to health practitioner for those with chronic ailments. Many of Dr. Shirley’s patients, who have suffered from low-grade to high-intensity pain with symptoms including irritable bowel, arthritis, headaches, constipation, chronic fatigue, sleep issues and hormone imbalances, have spent years visiting large numbers of medical and health professionals before finally arriving at Dr. Shirley’s front door. Much to the initial chagrin but eventual gratitude of many of her patients, Dr. Shirley’s practice isn’t for the faint hearted nor those looking for a one pill prescription fix.

Sidney Bensimon explores the world through her camera. She was raised in Paris until the age of 14 and now considers New York City and Los Angeles home. After getting an undergrad degree in Religious Studies and Comparative Literature from UGA, Sidney attended the Portfolio Center in Atlanta, where she developed her skills as a Visual Artist in Photography. She is grateful to shoot around the world and work with inspiring clients.
